Platinum division is a respectable division in the League of Legends ranks and if you're currently in it then you should be proud – especially when you consider that you're better than 90%+ of the people out there!Iron to Silver is low elo, it's where most of the ranked population is, and it's where casual players are. Gold and plat are for me medium elo, it's something that can be realistically reached even with a full-time job if you put the effort in. Diamond and low masters I'd say is high elo.

What ranks can play with each other in ranked : Three Or Two Stack

Iron and Bronze players won't have any Valorant ranked queue restrictions with players up to Silver rank, meaning Iron 1 players can play with Silver 3 players as long as the Silver player is the highest-ranked player in the lobby. Gold players can play with players up to Platinum.

Rank decay begins if a Diamond IV or higher-ranked player doesn't compete in Ranked games for a set number of days. For players in Diamond rank, it's 28 days. For those in the Apex tiers (Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger), it's 10 days.

The bar for high elo changes based on what your rank is. If you're plat, high elo starts at diamond. If you're "low diamond", high elo starts at mid/high diamond.

The possible grades are (from highest to lowest): S+, S, S-, A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-. While you are graded versus all players in your region, the grading system is not influenced by your matchmaking rating (MMR).To drop from Silver III to Silver IV, for example, you only need one loss at 0 LP. However, you'll still have enough LP left that you'll only need one or two wins to get back to where you were. If you're in division IV, on the other hand, you can usually lose a few games before being sent to the next level below.

Why is diamond so hard to get out of league : People are actually getting good, so it's a lot harder to solo carry. For an average player, communication is key to hitting diamond. This makes it much harder to not only get a solo kill, but also harder to roam around the map and successfully snowball.
